The Patterns We Carry

While working on this piece, I kept thinking about how deeply our roots shape us. Which patterns would I weave into the rug of my own life? Do we get to choose them… or are some threads simply given to us?

I wish I could keep only what inspires me and those around me — but life isn’t that simple, is it?

This artwork carries the story of an Armenian ballerina, Karina Melikyan, who has woven her cultural threads into her movement and her craft with such grace. Watching how she honors her origins feeds my inspiration too.

There are pieces of art that speak

They’re more than life stories on paper — they’re invitations.
They spark conversations with sensitive and thoughtful souls, filling your living room with voices, laughter, and reflections. They awaken the mind and stir the heart and
keep memories alive because they were born from the fleeting but most valuable moments of real life

This is commissioned portrait of a young ballerina dancing in her first tutu. It's a huge milestone for a dreamer and a happiness for parents and teacher.
